While this is an amazing story it would be even more amazing if I did that.

Well, I'm making my third attempt at Delillo's Underworld. I think the first couple of attempts I didn't have enough time to read in large chunks. Underworld is not to be read in 3-5 page bursts. In a stunning coincidence, TC was extolling the greatness of Jay Z, which, and it gets a little hazy here, was in part due to the fact he never wrote down any of his lyrics, ever, and Nick Shay's dead father (in Underworld) was a bookie who never wrote down any of the bets he took.

Today is the last day of my birthday month, which means? Which means? I've got 5 hours of continuing legal education to complete by the end of the day. Oh, joy.

Ok, I'm back from Louisiana. Great wedding. Lots of fun. Lots of talk about Dog Judo.

I saw this story and it reminded me when certain members of my fraternity attempted to trade me to another fraternity for a "player" a/k/a Chet and two kegs. I'm definitely sure the kegs were coming back to us. Anyway, it didn't go through.
