Perhaps I should look at it from the cat's point of view. Maybe that would make me feel better. Or perhaps if I looked at it from a lyrical approach

I was changing the cat box when I saw the sight
Sam jumped into the untouched reserves of kitty litter
Ignoring his box, he squated down but at least it wasn't a shitter
I came extremely close to deleting this entire post. I understand, there is something wrong with me. No need to tell me that.

Cats of Alokian origins have even worse behavioral problems -- at N. Skinker anyway, Dexter-X tore open the litter himself and left a nice crap sitting on top. Of course, he had good cause considering how infrequently his litter box was changed -- so this particular act of defiance was downright heroic. Sam’s litter box, on the other hand, is probably cleaned regularly, so take that as you will.
You need another dog to whip kitty back into shape.
