Beastles

The problem with the Grey Album is that nobody really likes Jay-Z (ok, at least I don't with the exception 0f 99 Problems), but the Beastles, well the name says it all. Better download this now before Michael Jackson's lawyers squash you.

I missed this one in the "mainstream" media:

"Secretary Rumsfeld has successfully led one of the largest organizations in the world, helped lead the ouster of two terrorist and totalitarian regimes, and brought long-overdue reforms to the military. He is a strong, smart and experienced part of the Bush Administration during this time of war, and understands the nature of the enemy we face and what is at stake."

"We recognize that there is legitimate debate over issues such as troop levels and equipment, but that is inevitable in any large-scale military operation. President Bush has clearly indicated that Secretary Rumsfeld has his total confidence, and that his role will be critical to our success in Iraq. It is important that we support not only the President but also his team."

The statement was issued by Senators Wayne Allard (R-CO), Sam Brownback (R-KS), Jim Bunning (R-KY), Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), John Cornyn (R-TX), Mike Enzi (R-WY), James Inhofe (R-OK), Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and Ted Stevens (R-AK). They joined with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Majority Whip Mitch McConnell, Conference Chairman Rick Santorum and Vice Chairman Kay Bailey Hutchison, Republican Policy Committee Chairman Jon Kyl and incoming Senatorial Campaign Committee Chair Elizabeth Dole, all of whom have expressed support for Rumsfeld.

What is even more shocking than the fact that (a) your comment was made to the wrong post, and (b) your comment was unsigned, is that from your article it appears only 15 Republican Senators signed that letter.

I guess I should clarify a couple of things. 1. I don't know who Timbaland is. I had to do a google search. 2. The Beasties last album pretty much sucked. 3. It's not so much that I don't like Jay-Z, but rather here is a guy who has been rapping for about 10 years with quite a bit of acclaim that didn't register on my radar. I'm sure I must have heard him before and not realized who it was. I would have taken notice if I liked it. That said, I will give Dirt Off My Shoulders a try. That is where you recommend I should start, no?
